Try and make a copy to see if the bulb is working properly. Go to start, devices and printer, right click the printer, left click printer properties, click on the Ports tab, put check mark beside Enable bidirectional support. Scanning requires bidirectional communication.Ĭheck to make sure bidirectional support is enabled on the computer. USB 3.0 are supposed to be backwards compatible. You want to use the normal USB slot 2.0 not the latest USB 3.0. Also, take a look at the USB port physically on the computer and see what color that is. (I would like to know if it is the color blue). Please, take a quick look at the "tip" of the USB cable that you're using. Make sure the USB is no longer then 6 feet long. Make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the computer in the back usb port for the desktop.
